The Peg Village Community Installation

What is it? An exhibition of artwork from the young artists of Sherston and the surrounding villages. Every year we also create a ‘Big Art’ project with previous exhibits including the Peg Village, ‘Sherston Rocks’ and the ‘Home’ Exhibition. This year is very exciting as we will be creating a group installation ‘Footsteps for the Earth’.

We want to see the space bursting with even more art and we are inviting every young person in the area to enter a piece of art!

We will show every piece of art and you can use any materials you like – try your hand at painting, collage, drawing or 3D. We welcome entries from anyone who can hold a crayon to 18 years old!

This years’ theme is nature – show us what you love about nature. Draw a favourite natural place, an animal you love or a plant. Anything to so with the environment goes!

All artwork needs to be brought to either:

Sherston Primary School on Thursday 10th October (just pop it in the Arts Festival Box in reception). Or bring it to the British School Rooms on Friday 11th October between 5pm-6pm.

Please ensure that all pieces have a name, age and school on the back. If you attend a school other than Sherston please pop your address and telephone number on the back and pictures will be returned after the exhibition closes WC: 14th October.
