Welcome to the 2019 Sherston Arts Festival Photography Competition and Exhibition which will take place on the weekend of Saturday & Sunday 19th/20th October. Opening hours at Sherston Village Hall: 11am-5pm Saturday and 11am-4pm Sunday. With a prize giving at 4pm on Sunday for best in show and the award of the Sherston Camera Trophy.
This hugely popular exhibition takes place on the final weekend of the Arts Festival and offers a chance for local amateur photographers (and Juniors) to show off their skills and display their work in Sherston Village Hall. The categories for 2019 are:
- In the Garden
- Sherston Life
- The Cotswolds
- My Family and Other Animals
There will be a prize for the image judged ‘best in show’ as determined by the judge and the Sherston camera trophy for the most popular image as determined by a public vote. There will also be prizes for the overall winner in each of the junior age groups.

As usual, we do hope that this years categories can provide the photographer with some inspiration yet all of these are open to the artists interpretation so get those creative juices flowing and start thinking ahead!
